The 132 miles of groomed trails means endless acres of pure powder. Annual snowfall totals average 21 feet, which creates a heaven on Earth for cross country skiers and snowshoers. Willow Park and Pole Creek offer miles of groomed trails to explore.

Lake Desmet is large, beautiful lake only 10-15 minutes from Buffalo! At the lake, we have boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and much more! In the winter months, Lake Desmet offers excellent ice fishing, and our annual New Year's Day celebration, the Polar Plunge, where locals jump into the ice-cold frozen lake!
